PLEAD TO THE COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO BELIEVE THEY ALREADY HAVE CONTRACTED THE CORONAVIRUS:

It has been reported, without the use of any names, that several lakeside individuals believe they have contracted the Coronavirus but have not come forward as of yet. We urge you to please step forward, allow us to help you and the community at large. Rumors must be squashed, and reality faced.

Our promise to you: You will be treated with the highest medical care available. The President of Chapala assures that you will be respected and have access to the best medical technology. Your identity will be protected, and anonymity upheld, while protecting and acting in the best interest of the community as a whole.

We know that this is a scary time and you may worry about backlash of being a carrier, but we need you to be responsible. Now more than ever. This is too important to cave to fears. We are here to help you and want to care for you before this turns into a local epidemic.
This community is quite possibly the most vulnerable area in all of Mexico due to factors such as:

1) A high population of elders.

2) Thousands of persons with disposable income which affords them the ability to travel.

3) An entire sector of foreigners which visit and/or move around internationally or have international homes/residences.

So, to avoid rumors; if this you - if you believe you have the Coronavirus - please reach out to either Hector or myself (ANY time, day or night, 24 hours a day) which will be a direct hotline to the President of Chapala, so that we can have this addressed immediately and assure urgent and proper protocols.
